Because I can!

It's not something that somebody else does, anyone can do it.
I used to watch an Australian TV program many years ago called 'The Whirlybirds' which was about two Helicopter pilots and what they got up to. The program was a bit like Skippy and Lassie, but in helicopters. I've liked them ever since.

I have no interest in fixed wing aircraft; the complete control of being able to go up and down and side to side and backwards is fantastic. I Looked on the RAF web site at the 'Harrier Jump jet' and discovered they wanted to train you for years BEFORE letting you fly.
Helicopter services let me go in a helicopter on my first lesson!

I would like to fly professionally, but I'm sure that many people who take lessons do. I also know that there are more people that take lessons than jobs flying a helicopter. So, the question is "How to you get a job flying?"
Really....that IS a question.
What do people look for when they are looking for a helicopter pilot?
